Sofía: I know! And he doesn't eat breakfast. He just runs to class.

Kenji: What does Carmen do in the morning?

Sofía: She waters her plants and cooks arepas. She never changes her routine.

Reading

Sofía's week is a perfect machine. She always gets up at six, drinks one black coffee and designs until noon. She doesn't work on Sundays — Sundays are for salsa. Kenji admires her discipline, but he doesn't copy it: he studies late and asks questions all day. 'Why does she never arrive late?' he wonders. Ben has a different theory: 'She is not human.' Carmen just smiles. She knows the secret: her granddaughter loves what she does.
